Video are the basic, central objects in the Kewego Product.

A Video consists of a video file, that has been uploaded onto the platform with attached Video Data, like title, descriptions, ... (detailled description)

Each Video must first uploaded by a valid Kewego User.

At the upload the video can be in any video file format, using any type of codec. You will find the list of the accepted codecs in this site. The video is then transcoded within a few minutes in some reference file formats. Currently the reference file formats are Sorenson's encoded FLV file and mp4 files (H264 codec) in a predefined bitrate (512 kbps, 800kbps, 1000kbps depending on product configuration).

A few minutes after upload, once transcoded, the video becomes  available for playback to the users.

See more informations about the encoding process.
